I love working with Liz Stanley. As her blog Say Yes to Hoboken suggests she is a lot of things- smart and punctual, stylish and direct. This was our fourth time collaborating on image for her blog but our first time meeting in person. Below are some of my favorite images from our session where Liz rocked it in a leather jacket she scored on consignment for one of her latest posts, Dare to Wear it: The Leather Jacket. To see images from previous work we’ve done see, How to Style It: The Jean jacket, 6 Tips for Wearing Color, and the ongoing Sister Style Series.
This is beautiful Erika. We have been working on a Children’s Portrait project together for a few months that we will announce next Spring BUT before that I wanted to share these images taken at the height of Summer. Our little model was napping and so we sat on the green grass and drank ice water. How could I not take photos of Erika? She is charming and stylish and confident! Yes, she always looks this great.
This is Vienna. Isn’t she so darling? Sometimes little darlings just need their moms and dads and I’m happy to see that and photograph it. Sometimes (not in this case) but sometimes mom and dad don’t want to be photographed but sometimes kids don’t either. Photographs of kids are my gift to their parents, and photographs are parents are my gifts to the kids.
